Illustrations

Cat Illustrations, Commercial Illustration, Wildlife Illustrations

I’ve selected several illustration projects to share. After living in New Mexico for just over a year, I have started documenting the wildlife in the area. You’ll see a few examples of the animals that I have sparked my imagination lately.

I also create illustrations of cats, so be sure to check those out below too.

'The Uncanny' Blu Ray Art Print for Severin Films

'The Uncanny' Blu Ray Art Print for Severin Films

I was commissioned by Severin Films to create this illustration for the official blu ray release of ‘The Uncanny’ a 1977 British horror anthology starring Peter Cushing and a bunch of cats.

Frankenstein's Monster Cat Portrait

This is one of the cats in my line of Halloween-themed portraits. I create them in a similar way to the wildlife art. I start out with a clean, inked line art and then color everything digitally in Photoshop.

Big Free-Tailed Bat (Nyctinomops Macrotis)

Big Free-Tailed Bat (Nyctinomops Macrotis)

I have not seen any big free-tailed bats in person since moving to New Mexico in 2018, but in keeping with the theme of ‘wildlife in New Mexico’, this seemed like a great subject for an illustration.

Just like the raven, this bat started out as inked line-art and I then digitally colored it in Photoshop.

Raven (Corvus Corax)

Raven (Corvus Corax)

I see ravens in Santa Fe nearly every day, so I decided to create a portrait. I made this using a combination of my original ink line-art and then digitally colored it in Photoshop.
